If you are about to buy a new car you might be wondering what extras you will be given. The answer to this question will all depend on the kind of relationship you develop with the dealer. There are so many dealers at the moment who are desperate to make the sale and if they think these extras will get you to buy then they may throw in a lot of them. However you will find them less generous if they think that you will buy the car anyway. This is a shame because the dealers get a lot of stuff for free, but some won’t give anything more than they feel is needed. This is why two people can go to a dealer to buy a car and one will leave with a couple of free items and the other with a boot full of stuff.
The following are some of the things that you might be able to get the dealer to throw in.

- Covers for the steering wheel.
- Cushions for travelling.
- Extra sun visors.
- Free oil changes – try to get five.
- Car polishing and free cleanign for a year.
- An extended warranty.
- DVD players for passengers.
- Car cleaning products and equipment.
You may be able to get the dealer to throw in just some of the items listed above. You are very unlikely to get all of them but you may be able to get a few of these. Of course you should always try and see if you can get a bit off the price before talking about these extras. But getting any of these items thrown in is always a bonus and the fact that the dealers don’t have to pay for them anyway won’t make you feel so bad.
